FAQs

Can I use this paint on indoor walls?

This specific formulation is designed for exterior masonry use. We recommend exploring the Mylands interior range for indoor projects.

Is a primer absolutely necessary?

While it can be applied directly to some surfaces, using a primer is highly recommended to improve adhesion and ensure a longer-lasting finish.

What is the finish of this paint?

This paint features a flat matt finish, which is non-reflective and ideal for a subtle, elegant look.

How do I maintain the finish?

Keep the surface clean by gently washing with water and a soft cloth when necessary to remove dust or debris.

Does this shade work well with other colors?

The deep green tone works beautifully as a contrast against light creams, natural stone, or dark wood accents.

Troubleshooting

Paint peeling or flaking shortly after application

Check surface moisture levels and ensure the substrate was properly primed before painting.

Uneven finish or patchy appearance

Apply a primer to seal porous areas and ensure you are using a consistent application method across the entire surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Rich and complex deep green color profile
High-quality flat matt finish
Excellent durability against outdoor weathering
Specialized formulation for exterior masonry surfaces

Cons

Requires professional surface preparation for best results
Primer is recommended for optimal adhesion
Limited to masonry applications compared to multi-surface options

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before application, ensure that all masonry surfaces are clean, dry, and free of loose material, moss, or algae. For new or porous surfaces, applying a dedicated masonry primer is highly recommended to even out absorption rates and improve the final adhesion. Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply using a high-quality brush or masonry roller. For ongoing care, light cleaning with a soft brush or a gentle wash with clean water can help maintain the color integrity over the years. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the matt surface layer.
