Simply stretch the lycra fabric over your helmet, starting from the top and working your way down. The elasticated edge will help secure it in place.
Yes, the cover is machine washable. It is recommended to wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle and air dry.
The transparent external pocket is designed to hold a personal identification card, making it easy for others to identify you if necessary.
The stretchy lycra fabric allows the cover to be easily scrunched down to a very small size, making it convenient to fit into a pocket or small bag.
While designed for adults, the universal fit might accommodate some youth helmets. Please check the helmet dimensions against the stretchy nature of the cover.
Gently stretch the fabric over the helmet, ensuring even tension. If too loose, try repositioning it to a different point on the helmet. The lycra's stretch should accommodate most shapes.
Ensure you are washing in cold water on a gentle cycle and air drying or using a low heat setting. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
Make sure the cover is positioned correctly on the helmet so the transparent pocket is facing outwards and is not obstructed by straps or other helmet features.
Setup: To apply the cover, simply stretch the lycra fabric over your helmet, ensuring it fits snugly and covers the entire surface. The elasticated edge helps it stay in place. Adjust as needed for optimal fit.
Compatibility: This cover is designed to fit most standard adult-sized helmets used for skiing, cycling, horseriding, and scootering. It is intended for use over existing helmets and does not replace the helmet's protective function.
Care: The Coolcasc Helmet Cover is machine washable. For best results, wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, which can damage the fabric and design.
