Yes, the laser is powerful enough to project a clear line onto most carpet types.
The device uses a low-power laser, but you should avoid looking directly into the aperture while it is powered on.
It is designed to be mounted on a wall or the side of a dartboard cabinet for the best results.
Battery life depends on the brand and usage, but most users find a set of high-quality batteries lasts for several months of regular play.
The batteries are likely low. Replace them with a fresh set of high-quality alkaline batteries.
Check the mounting screws to ensure the unit is level. Use the internal adjustment mechanism to calibrate the beam angle.
Verify the batteries are installed with the correct polarity and ensure the power switch is in the 'on' position.
Installation is straightforward and requires basic tools to mount the unit to your chosen surface. Ensure the unit is level to guarantee the projected line is parallel to the board. Once mounted, use the adjustment screws to fine-tune the laser angle until the line aligns perfectly with the edge of the 2.37-meter throwing distance. For maintenance, keep the laser aperture clean from dust using a soft, dry cloth. When not in use for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage. The device is compatible with most standard wall-mounted dartboards and cabinets.
