Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Attaching Shoulder Straps: Locate the buckles on the `alpine-cut shoulder straps`. Clip them securely into the corresponding D-rings on the top and bottom of the duffel bag. Adjust the `strap length` using the sliders for a comfortable, ergonomic fit that distributes weight evenly across your shoulders.
- Using Side Handles: The `padded side handles` can be used as traditional duffel carry handles or `haul handles` for lifting the bag.
- Compression Straps: To compress your gear, pack your items and then pull the `four compression straps` evenly until the desired compactness is achieved. This helps stabilize the load and reduce bulk.
Compatibility
This medium 71-liter duffel is compatible with a wide range of travel and adventure needs:
- Travel: Ideal for car trips, train travel, and checking as luggage on flights (check airline specific size/weight restrictions).
- Outdoor Activities: Suitable for camping, climbing, road trips, and other expeditions where durable, weather-resistant gear transport is essential.
- Gear Storage: Excellent for storing seasonal gear or sports equipment when not in use.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the duffel with a damp cloth and mild soap. For tougher dirt, use a soft brush. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the bag to air dry completely, preferably in a shaded area, before storing. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Storage: Store the duffel in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. You can use the included `zip mesh storage bag` for neat storage.
- Zipper Maintenance: Periodically inspect zippers for debris and ensure they move smoothly. If a zipper becomes stiff, a small amount of zipper lubricant can be applied.
