FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for winter hiking?

While the GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproof protection, they might not offer enough insulation for extremely cold winter conditions. Consider using thicker socks or adding insoles for added warmth.

How do I clean the shoes?

Use a brush to remove dirt and debris. Wash them with lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid using a washing machine or dryer.

What kind of socks should I wear with these shoes?

Hiking socks made of synthetic materials or merino wool are recommended. They help wick away moisture and provide cushioning.

What is the lifespan of these shoes?

The lifespan depends on usage and care. With regular use and proper care, they can last for several hiking seasons.

Can I use these shoes for trail running?

Yes, these shoes are suitable for trail running due to their lightweight design and responsive cushioning.

What is the warranty on these shoes?

adidas offers a warranty against manufacturing defects. Check the product documentation or contact adidas customer service for specific warranty details.

How should I store the shoes when not in use?

Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Water leaking into the shoe.

Check for any damage to the GORE-TEX membrane. Ensure the shoes are properly laced to create a tight seal. If the problem persists, the shoes may need to be re-waterproofed.

Poor grip on wet surfaces.

Ensure the outsole is clean from dirt and debris. Consider replacing the shoes if the tread is worn down.

Uncomfortable fit.

Make sure you have the correct size. Adjust the laces for a more comfortable fit. Consider using different socks to improve comfort.
