The Trespass Ewen Waterproof Jacket is an essential outer layer for adult men seeking reliable protection during hiking, trekking, or daily commutes in unpredictable weather. Engineered with a 5000mm waterproof rating and 5000mvp breathability, it effectively balances moisture management with weather resistance; however, users should note that as a lightweight shell, it is best utilized as part of a layering system in extreme cold rather than as a standalone insulator.

Yes, the dense polyester construction provides an effective shield against wind, protecting you from the wind-chill effect.
Yes, it is machine washable. We recommend using a specialized outdoor clothing detergent and skipping fabric softeners.
mvp stands for Moisture Vapor Permeability. A 5000mvp rating indicates that the fabric allows 5000 grams of water vapor to pass through a square meter of fabric over 24 hours.
The Ewen features an adjustable hood, but it is typically fixed to the collar to provide a more secure seal against the elements.
The jacket provides protection from wind and rain, but it does not provide insulation. We recommend wearing a fleece or mid-layer underneath in winter conditions.
The DWR coating may have worn off. Wash the jacket with a technical cleaner and re-apply a DWR spray according to the product instructions.
This is often due to internal condensation from high activity levels. Open the waterproof side zips to improve airflow and heat regulation.
To maximize the life of the Trespass Ewen, ensure the jacket is fully zipped and the cuffs are tightened before heading into rain. Because this is a shell jacket, it is compatible with fleeces or base layers underneath for added insulation in colder temperatures. For care, wash the jacket on a cool cycle using a technical cleaner designed for waterproof garments. Avoid using heavy detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. Periodically re-treat the outer fabric with a waterproofing spray to maintain performance.
