Drawers are stiff to open or close.

Ensure the chest is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions inside the drawer runners. If the issue persists, a light application of wax on the drawer runners might help.

Wobbling or instability.

Verify that the chest is placed on a flat, even floor. Check if any of the legs are uneven or damaged. Adjust the position or consider using felt pads under the legs if the floor is uneven.

The finish appears dull.

Wipe the surface with a slightly damp, soft cloth to remove dust. Dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can strip the lacquer.
