Troubleshooting

Drawers sticking or difficult to open/close

Ensure the chest is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions inside the drawer runners or around the drawer frame. Wipe drawer runners with a dry cloth.

Surface scratching

Avoid placing sharp objects directly on the surface. Use coasters for drinks and placemats for hot items if placing them on top. Minor scratches can sometimes be buffed out with a specialist furniture polish for lacquered wood.

Uneven drawers

Check if the chest is stable and level. If the issue persists, the drawer runners might need adjustment, though this is uncommon with factory-assembled units.
