Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Timberland boots maintain their longevity, follow these care guidelines:
- Initial Break-in: Wear the boots for short periods indoors or on light walks to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape before attempting long hikes.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried dirt after each use. For tougher stains, use a specialized leather cleaner.
- Waterproofing Maintenance: While the boots are waterproofed from the factory, applying a leather conditioner or water-repellent spray periodically will keep the leather supple and maintain the seam integrity.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack over time.
