Troubleshooting
The ottoman base won't stay closed.
Verify that your mattress weighs at least 30kg. If it is too light, the gas pistons will be too strong and force the base open.
The base is difficult to lift.
Check that the gas pistons are correctly attached and not obstructed by stored items or debris in the base frame.
Slat movement or squeaking.
Ensure all plastic caps are firmly seated into the frame and that the slats are clicked into position correctly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure safety and longevity, follow these setup and maintenance guidelines:
- Assembly: The bed requires two people for assembly due to the size and weight of the ottoman components. Carefully follow the included hardware guide to secure the slats and gas-lift pistons.
- Mattress Compatibility: This King size model measures approximately 120cm (H) x 157cm (W) x 213cm (D). Ensure your bedroom layout allows for this footprint and the clearance needed to lift the frame.
- Care Instructions: To keep the velvet upholstery looking its best, gently vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Avoid using harsh chemicals or water-based cleaners, which may stain the fabric. If a spill occurs, blot immediately with a dry, white lint-free cloth.
