Product Information
Full details
The Julian Bowen Aylen Upholstered Bed Frame in Dark Grey is designed for homeowners seeking a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic without compromising on structural integrity. Its key benefit lies in the combination of a plush, vertical-stitched headboard and a robust slatted base that provides reliable support for a standard double mattress. The primary caveat for potential buyers is that the bed arrives flat-packed and requires a full self-assembly process, and the mattress must be purchased as a separate item.

What is the weight capacity of the bed?
The bed is built for standard domestic use with a high-quality slatted base, though it is always advised to avoid excessive weight concentration.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
This bed frame is designed for a standard double mattress. To assemble, ensure you have a clear floor space and clear instructions. It is recommended that two people assemble the frame to ensure all bolts are tightened correctly and the frame remains square.
Care Instructions:
- Maintenance: Periodically check and tighten all bolts after the first few weeks of use, as natural movement can loosen fasteners.
- Cleaning: Use a soft upholstery brush attachment on a vacuum to remove dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not use harsh chemical cleaners which could damage the fabric finish.
