Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the waterproof integrity of the Hydrafort fabric, machine wash the jacket on a cool cycle using a non-biological detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip away the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating. If the exterior fabric begins to 'wet out' (soaking up water instead of beading off), you can re-activate the repellent properties by tumble drying on a very low heat or using a specialized DWR re-proofer spray. Ensure all zippers are closed before washing to prevent snagging.
