The jacket features Isotex technology which is described as waterproof and wind-resistant. However, for prolonged exposure to heavy rain, it is considered water-resistant rather than fully waterproof.

This is a softshell jacket designed primarily for protection against wind and water. It is lightweight and offers some warmth due to its construction, but for very cold conditions, it is best used as an outer layer over insulating mid-layers.

Machine wash at 40°C with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, iron, or use fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Periodic reapplication of a waterproofing treatment is recommended.

The hood is designed to be concealed and roll-away, meaning it can be stored within the collar when not in use. It is not a detachable hood.

The reflective trim is a safety feature designed to increase visibility in low-light conditions, such as dawn, dusk, or foggy weather, by reflecting light back to its source.

Ensure the garment is not over-worn in extreme, prolonged wet conditions beyond its water-resistant rating. Check that ventilation (if applicable) is open. If washing, ensure all detergent residue is rinsed out, and consider re-applying a water-repellent finish.

Gently pull the zipper while applying slight pressure. You can use a graphite pencil or a bit of wax (like beeswax or a candle) rubbed along the teeth to improve glide. Avoid forcing the zipper.

Avoid high heat during washing and drying. Do not iron directly on the reflective trim. Minor peeling may be addressed with a fabric adhesive if done carefully, but significant damage may affect visibility.
