The adidas Handball Spezial trainers are designed for kids seeking a blend of retro 1970s aesthetics and reliable everyday comfort. These trainers offer excellent grip and stability thanks to a durable rubber cupsole, making them a practical choice for active daily wear. While they provide a classic, stylish look, prospective buyers should note that the leather construction requires regular maintenance to keep the vibrant pink finish looking its best.

No, machine washing can damage the leather and the structure of the cupsole. Always clean them by hand.
While they were originally designed for handball, they are best suited for casual daily wear and light activity rather than intensive athletic training.
These trainers are sized in UK children's sizing; it is recommended to measure the foot and consult the size guide to ensure adequate toe room.
Like most leather footwear, they may feel slightly stiff initially but will soften and mold to the foot after a few wears.
The insoles are generally fixed, but if you need to use orthotics, ensure they are thin enough to fit within the existing volume of the shoe.
Yes, the white accents can attract dirt. Keep a small brush handy to remove loose debris before it settles into the material.
Double-knot the laces or replace them with slightly textured laces for better grip.
Use a leather-safe eraser or a matching pink leather polish to buff out minor marks.
Loosen the lacing pattern at the midfoot to allow for natural foot swelling during the day.
Because these are lace-up trainers, ensure the laces are adjusted to provide a snug but comfortable fit across the midfoot to prevent heel slippage. To maintain the leather, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth after exposure to mud or dust. Avoid immersing the shoes in water, as this can degrade the leather and the adhesives used in the cupsole. Use a specialized leather cleaner for tougher stains and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the pink colour from fading over time.
