Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours, avoiding bleach and fabric softener. Reapply a DWR treatment after washing to maintain water repellency.
Ensure the DWR treatment is active by performing a water bead test. If water soaks in, consider reapplying a DWR finish. Also, check that all zippers are fully closed and seams are intact.
This can sometimes occur if the fabric pores are blocked by dirt or detergent residue. Wash the jacket according to care instructions using a small amount of mild detergent and ensure it is thoroughly rinsed. Avoid fabric softeners.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris. Once dry, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth.
This jacket requires no assembly and is ready to wear straight out of the packaging. It is compatible with most children's outdoor clothing and accessories.
