The Britton Road boots generally fit true to standard UK sizing, but the memory foam may create a slightly snug feel initially.
Yes, the OrthoLite Impressions footbeds can be removed or replaced if you need to insert custom orthotics.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and use a leather-specific cleaner for deeper stains, followed by a conditioner.
These boots are designed for daily wear and city-to-trail environments; for technical, heavy-duty mountain hiking, a dedicated hiking boot may be preferred.
TimberCush is designed to absorb impact, reducing fatigue in your legs and feet during long periods of movement.
While the boots come with a waterproof membrane, applying a leather protectant spray can help prevent stains and improve water repellency from day one.
Wear them indoors for short periods over several days to allow the leather to soften and the memory foam to conform to your foot.
Apply a secondary leather-safe water-repellent spray to the exterior to maintain the integrity of the waterproofing.
Remove the insoles to air out and use an odor-neutralizing spray or moisture-absorbing packet when not in use.
To ensure your boots last for years, clean the leather upper regularly with a soft brush to remove dirt, and apply a leather conditioner to prevent drying or cracking. Because these boots feature a waterproof membrane, avoid exposing the interior to excessive soaking; if the inside gets wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators. Ensure you check your UK size carefully before purchase, as the memory foam footbed provides a snug, secure fit.
