Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
These hiking shoes require no initial setup beyond lacing them up. They are compatible with standard hiking socks. To ensure longevity and performance:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush. For tougher dirt, wipe down with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or solvents, as they can degrade the materials and waterproof membrane.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or fires, as this can damage the adhesives and waterproof membrane. Remove insoles to speed up drying if necessary.
- Waterproofing Care: Periodically, you may want to treat the exterior with a waterproofing spray specifically designed for GORE-TEX footwear to maintain its water-repellent properties.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
