Regatta Hamara IV Jacket - Beige

Isotex 15000 is a waterproof and breathable fabric technology used by Regatta. The '15000' rating indicates it can withstand 15,000mm of water pressure and offers a breathability of 15,000g/m²/24 hours.

The jacket itself is designed for waterproofing and wind resistance. For very cold weather, it is recommended to layer insulating clothing underneath, such as a fleece or a down jacket.

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with a small amount of liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. Tumble dry on low heat and iron on a low setting if needed. Re-apply a DWR treatment periodically.

The fabric is a blend of 70% polyester and 30% recycled polyester. The lining is 100% recycled polyester taffeta.

This refers to the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish applied to the outer fabric, which causes water to bead up and roll off. This finish can wear off over time and may need reapplication.

The cuffs are partly elasticated with a curved top pattern. They are designed to provide a snug fit but are not fully adjustable with Velcro or a strap.

The wire in the hood's peak provides structure and allows you to shape it for better protection against rain and wind, ensuring it stays in place and keeps water away from your face.

Re-apply a suitable DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to the outer fabric. Ensure the jacket is clean before application. Follow the instructions on the DWR product.

Check if the taped seams are intact. If they appear damaged, professional repair might be needed. Ensure the garment has been washed according to care instructions, as residues can affect performance.

Clean the zipper teeth gently with a soft brush. Apply a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a silicone-based lubricant) to the teeth and work the zipper up and down several times.

Ensure the toggle or stopper on the cord is secured properly. If the cord itself is frayed, it may need replacement.
