FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running?
These trainers are designed for casual wear and light activities. They offer comfort but may not provide the necessary support or cushioning for high-impact running or athletic training.
How do I ensure the best fit with the Hands Free Slip-ins®?
The Hands Free Slip-ins® are designed to allow you to slide your foot in without using your hands. Ensure your heel is aligned with the back of the shoe, and a gentle push should be sufficient. The adjustable laces can then be used to secure the fit.
Can I wear these trainers without socks?
Yes, the soft interior lining and cushioned insole are designed for comfortable wear with or without socks. However, wearing socks can help with moisture management and reduce friction for some individuals.
What does 'vegan construction' mean for these shoes?
It means that no animal-derived materials or by-products were used in the manufacturing of these trainers, including the upper, lining, sole, and adhesives.
How often should I machine wash these trainers?
Machine washing should be done as needed. Over-washing can potentially reduce the lifespan of the materials. Spot cleaning or hand washing is recommended for minor dirt.
What is the purpose of the Heel Pillow®?
The Heel Pillow® is a comfort feature that provides extra cushioning and a snugger fit around the heel, helping to prevent slippage and enhance overall comfort.
Do these trainers come in other colors or sizes?
Yes, the Skechers BOBS Sport™ Skillz - Too Essential series is available in a range of colors and sizes. Please check the product listings for current availability.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight initially.
The engineered knit upper will stretch slightly with wear. Adjust the laces for a more comfortable fit or wear with thicker socks initially.
Difficulty slipping shoes on.
Ensure the Heel Pillow® is not being obstructed. A slight push with the heel should allow entry. If new, they may be slightly snugger until broken in.
Machine washing not recommended for specific parts.
While the shoes are machine washable, it is best to remove insoles if possible before washing and always air dry to preserve material integrity and shape.
Reduced cushioning over time.
The Memory Foam™ insole may compress with prolonged heavy use. Consider replacing the insole if cushioning significantly diminishes.
