The Nike Charge Shinguards are designed for young athletes seeking reliable protection during football (soccer) play. They offer low-profile impact defense with a hard shell and comfortable cushioning thanks to a foam back, ensuring they stay in place with a pull-on stirrup design. A potential caveat is that the pull-on design may not suit all preferences for fit adjustment.

The foam back provides cushioning and conforms to the contours of the leg for enhanced comfort during play.
They offer low-profile impact protection due to the hard shell, designed to shield against common on-pitch incidents.
Ensure the pull-on stirrup is positioned correctly under the foot. Consider wearing them with thicker or grippier socks, or ensure they are the correct size for the athlete's leg.
Verify that the shinguard is centered on the shin. Ensure the foam backing is making full contact with the leg. If discomfort persists, check if the size is appropriate.
Inspect for tears or cracks in the shell or foam. If significant damage is present, replacement is recommended for continued protection.
Setup: These shinguards feature a pull-on stirrup design. To wear, slide each leg through the appropriate stirrup and ensure the hard shell is positioned centrally over the shin bone. For optimal performance and comfort, it is recommended to wear them with athletic socks.
Compatibility: The Nike Charge Shinguards are specifically designed for football (soccer) and are intended for youth players. They are compatible with standard football boots and kit.
Care: To maintain the integrity and performance of the shinguards, they should be hand washed only. Avoid using harsh detergents or machine washing, as this can damage the materials and affect their protective qualities.
