Frederic Malle Northern Love is a sophisticated, unisex amber-woody fragrance designed for adults who seek an intimate and emotive sensory experience. Masterfully composed by Bruno Jovanovic, this scent balances creamy sandalwood with spicy cinnamon and sweet vanilla to create a warm, comforting profile that feels both contemporary and nostalgic. While it excels as an everyday signature scent for those who value refined, high-quality perfumery, potential users should note that its warm, gourmand-leaning composition may feel too heavy for extremely humid or high-temperature environments.

Yes, its balanced, intimate profile makes it an excellent choice for a daily signature scent.
Frederic Malle works with top-tier perfumers to use the highest quality synthetic and natural ingredients to achieve complex scent profiles.
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the chemical stability of the scent oils.
While intended to stand on its own, it can be layered with simple, single-note scents like cedar or musk, though it is recommended to enjoy the composition as intended first.
No, it is a unisex fragrance designed for anyone who appreciates a sophisticated amber-woody scent.
It is an Eau de Parfum (EDP), offering a high concentration of fragrance oils for long-lasting performance.
Ensure skin is well-moisturized before application, as dry skin tends to absorb fragrance oils faster.
Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the top notes to settle into the heart and base notes of the fragrance.
Wipe the nozzle with a soft, slightly dampened cloth to remove dried fragrance oil residue.
As a 50ml Eau de Parfum, this fragrance is designed for long-term enjoyment. To ensure the integrity of the scent, store the bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and fluctuating temperatures, such as a bedroom drawer or a vanity shelf rather than a bathroom.
When applying, aim for pulse points—the wrists, neck, and behind the ears—as these areas generate heat that helps diffuse the scent throughout the day. Avoid rubbing your wrists together after application, as this can break down the top notes and alter the intended evolution of the fragrance. For maximum compatibility with sensitive skin, apply the fragrance to clothing or ensure your skin is hydrated with an unscented lotion before application.
