FAQs

Does this product come with an insert?

No, the Furn. Festive Trees Cushion Cover is sold as a cover only.

Can I wash this in a standard washing machine?

Yes, it is designed for machine washing. We recommend a gentle cycle to maintain the integrity of the embossed pattern.

What is the material composition?

It is crafted from 250gsm flannel, known for its softness and warmth.

Is the design printed or embossed?

The pine tree motif is embossed, providing a textured, 3D effect rather than a flat print.

Will the green colour fade after washing?

By following the care instructions—specifically washing on a gentle cycle with like colours—you can prevent premature fading.

Troubleshooting

The cover looks flat or lumpy

Ensure you are using a high-quality, appropriately sized insert. If the insert is too small, the cover will sag; if too large, it may cause the zipper to strain.

Fabric has accumulated lint or dust

Use a standard fabric lint roller or a soft garment brush to remove surface debris. Avoid harsh scrubbing which could flatten the embossed pattern.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Exceptionally soft flannel material for maximum comfort
Sophisticated embossed design that suits various decor styles
Durable 250gsm fabric weight holds its shape well
Easy to clean with standard machine washing
Subtle seasonal motif that does not clash with year-round furniture

Cons

Cushion insert not included
Design is seasonal and may not suit all-year-round decor
Flannel fabric may attract lint if not washed properly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

To set up your cushion, simply source a cushion insert of the matching size (typically standard 45cm x 45cm squares are recommended). Unzip the cover completely, fold the insert in half, and slide it inside the cover. Ensure the corners of the insert reach the corners of the cover for an even fill.

Compatibility:

This cover is designed for universal compatibility with standard square cushion inserts.

Care Instructions:

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colours.
Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach to preserve the colour and texture.
Air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage.
Ironing is generally not required, but if necessary, use a low temperature and place a cloth between the iron and the embossed surface.
