Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Equator X bag arrives ready to use. Upon first use, adjust the `adjustable padded straps` to fit your torso comfortably. The `sternum strap` can be moved up or down to find the optimal position for weight distribution and stability. Familiarize yourself with the `front organiser pocket` for quick access items and plan your packing strategy for the two main compartments to make the most of the internal `packing ribbons` and `dividers`.
Compatibility
- Laptop/Tablet: The dedicated tech compartment is designed for devices *up to 13 inches*.
- Airlines: Specifically designed to meet `Ryanair's under-seat dimensions (40x20x25cm)`. It will also be suitable as a personal item for most other airlines that offer similar underseat allowances.
- Luggage: The `pull-through strap` allows for secure attachment to the handle of a larger rolling suitcase.
Care
- Cleaning: The bag is made of polyester. For general cleaning, wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or machine washing, which can damage the fabric and structure. Air dry thoroughly away from direct sunlight.
- Storage: When not in use, store the bag in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Maintenance: Periodically check zippers and straps for any signs of wear. Do not overpack the bag, as this can strain zippers and seams, potentially leading to damage.
