Care Instructions
Maintaining your white Nike Air Max shoes will keep them looking new and extend their lifespan.
- Remove Loose Dirt: Use a soft-bristled brush (like an old toothbrush) or a damp cloth to gently remove any loose dirt, dust, or mud from the surface, including the sole.
- Spot Clean: For stubborn marks, mix a small amount of mild soap (e.g., dish soap) with warm water. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the mixture and gently scrub the affected areas in small circular motions.
- Rinse & Wipe: Wipe down the shoes thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Avoid oversaturating the shoes.
- Laces: Remove laces and wash them separately by hand with soap and water, or place them in a mesh laundry bag for machine washing on a delicate cycle.
- Drying:
- Always air dry shoes at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers) or direct sunlight, which can damage materials and cause discoloration.
- Stuff the shoes with paper towels or newspaper to absorb moisture from the inside and help maintain their original shape during the drying process.
- Storage:
- Store shoes in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, which can cause materials to yellow or degrade over time.
- Consider using shoe trees to help maintain their shape when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid:
- Do not put shoes in a washing machine or dryer, as this can severely damage the materials, adhesives, and overall structure.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as they can discolor or damage the shoe's finish.
- Do not leave shoes in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures for prolonged periods.
