The jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection, but for cold weather, it is recommended to layer it over insulating clothing such as a fleece or thermal base layer.

The DWR finish can be reactivated by tumble drying on a low heat after washing. If performance degrades, use a specific DWR re-proofing spray or wash after cleaning the garment.
