FAQs

Is this jacket waterproof?

The jacket is made from high-quality polyester, which offers good resistance, but it is not marketed as a fully waterproof raincoat.

Can I dry clean this item?

It is recommended to follow the care label instructions and machine wash at 30 degrees rather than dry cleaning, unless specified by a professional cleaner familiar with down garments.

What age group is the '2y' size intended for?

The '2y' size is specifically tailored for infants and toddlers approximately 2 years of age.

Does the jacket include a hood?

No, this specific model features a polo collar design and does not include a hood.

Will the feathers poke through the fabric?

Moncler uses high-quality construction techniques to minimize feather leakage, though minor shedding is common with any down-filled garment.

Troubleshooting

Down padding appears flat after washing

Tumble dry the jacket on a low setting with clean tennis balls or dryer balls to redistribute the feathers and restore loft.

Snap-buttons feel loose or stiff

Check the mechanism for any fabric debris or lint. A light wipe with a damp cloth can clear the area, or ensure they are properly aligned before pressing.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Moncler Enfant jacket, proper care is essential:

Cleaning: Machine wash the jacket on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees Celsius.
Detergent: Use a mild detergent suitable for down-filled garments to prevent damaging the natural oils in the feathers.
Drying: It is highly recommended to tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls to help fluff the down and prevent clumping.
Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain the loft of the padding. Avoid compressing the jacket under heavy items for extended periods.
