The Shires Equikind+ Peanut Link Eggbutt Bit is designed to encourage a softer contact with horses. The peanut link in the mouthpiece helps to promote a more comfortable and responsive connection between horse and rider. The Eggbutt rings are an excellent choice for horses that have sensitive lips, as they help to prevent pinching and irritation. This bit features a 15mm mouthpiece thickness and cheek heights of 55mm for 4.5-inch bits and 75mm for 5-inch and 5.5-inch bits. The bit is made from stainless steel with an EquiKind+ coating, offering a thinner mouthpiece than traditional rubber bits. It provides a gentle and soft feel for the horse while still allowing the rider to maintain full control.
