This Hudson Reed Fusion Compact Vanity Unit in Charcoal Black is ideal for homeowners looking to maximize space in smaller bathrooms or cloakrooms without compromising on style. Its key benefit is its compact depth and ready-built assembly, saving installation time. A minor caveat is that a waste shroud is not included. This unit features a striking black finish, a textured woodgrain fascia, a single shelf for storage, and soft-close hinges for quiet operation, all manufactured in Britain to high standards.

Ensure the wall mounting points are secure and level. If adjustable legs were an option, check their adjustment. For this fixed-depth unit, ensure the wall mounting is perfectly plumb.
Check for any obstructions in the hinge mechanism. Ensure the door is correctly aligned. Soft-close mechanisms can sometimes require a firm, deliberate push to engage fully.
Check that the basin waste and its seal are correctly fitted and tightened. Ensure the waste shroud (purchased separately) is properly installed.
Setup: The unit comes fully assembled. You will need to attach the included handle and ensure all fixings are securely used to mount the unit to the wall. Plumbing connections for the basin should be made according to standard practice; remember to purchase a compatible tap and waste shroud separately.
Compatibility: This vanity unit is designed to accommodate standard basin plumbing. Ensure your chosen tap has the correct spout reach and height for the basin. The unit requires a compatible waste trap and overflow, and a separate waste shroud is needed.
Care: Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish. Wipe dry immediately after cleaning. For the basin, use non-abrasive cleaners suitable for ceramic.
