Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony Peregrine 16s remain in top condition, start by ensuring a proper fit; the secure lacing system should be tightened to lock the heel, yet loose enough across the instep to allow for foot swelling during long hikes. Compatibility-wise, these shoes are designed as standalone hiking footwear and do not require specific additions, though they can accommodate aftermarket orthotics if preferred. For care, remove mud after each use using a soft brush. If the shoes become soaked, remove the sockliner and stuff the interior with newspaper to draw out moisture. Avoid drying near direct heat sources, as this can degrade the foam midsole materials.
