Full details
The Clarks Solevana Step trainers are designed for adult females seeking all-day comfort and effortless style, especially those who are busy on their feet or prioritize comfort. Their key benefit is restoring and recharging feet with each step through advanced cushioning and a natural fit. A potential consideration is the 40mm heel height, which might not suit everyone seeking a completely flat shoe. This shoe features breathable uppers, a signature toe-box fit for natural toe movement, and an ultra-light Solevana Foam outsole for impact absorption.

FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for walking long distances?
Yes, the Solevana Step trainers are engineered for all-day comfort with their PillowSoft Footbed and lightweight Solevana Foam outsole, making them suitable for long walks and extended periods of standing.
Can I wear these trainers for light jogging?
While they offer excellent cushioning for walking and daily activities, they are primarily designed for comfort and casual use. For rigorous athletic activities like serious running or jogging, specialized running shoes are recommended.
How do I determine the right size?
Consult the Clarks sizing guide for accurate measurements. The signature toe-box fit means there is ample room for your toes, so ensure the overall fit is snug but not tight.
What is the benefit of the elastic straps?
The elastic straps provide a flexible and adaptive fit that accommodates the natural movement of your foot throughout the day, offering comfort without being restrictive.
Are the insoles removable?
Information regarding removable insoles is not specified in the product details. However, the PillowSoft Footbed is integrated for maximum cushioning.
What materials are the uppers made of?
The uppers are designed to be breathable, keeping feet cool and fresh. Specific material composition (e.g., leather, textile) may vary by colorway but focus on ventilation.
How should I clean the Solevana Foam outsole?
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the lightweight foam material.
Troubleshooting
Foot discomfort despite cushioning
Ensure you have the correct size. The signature toe-box fit needs adequate space. Try wearing them for short periods initially to allow your feet to adjust.
Uppers feel warm or less breathable
While breathable, extreme heat or prolonged intense activity may reduce ventilation. Ensure no socks are excessively thick. Check that the shoe is not damp internally, which can impede airflow.
Elastic straps feel too loose or too tight
The elastic straps are designed for flexibility. If they feel consistently too loose, ensure the rest of the shoe fits snugly. If too tight, the shoe size might be incorrect, or the straps may need time to adapt to your foot.
Outsole appears to be losing cushioning effect
The Solevana Foam is designed for durability, but extensive wear will naturally reduce its peak cushioning. Ensure the outsole is clean, as debris can sometimes affect the feel. If significant wear is visible, it may be time to consider replacement.
