Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear the boots around your home or on short walks for a few days before attempting longer hikes to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove excess mud or dirt using a soft-bristled brush after every use. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap; never submerge fully in water.
- Drying: Air dry the boots naturally at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, as intense heat can damage the Isotex membrane and glue bonds.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to prevent moisture buildup and mold growth.
