FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
No, it is recommended to clean them by hand using a damp cloth and mild soap to maintain the structural integrity of the foam and adhesives.
What age group is this shoe for?
These are specifically engineered for kids/youths, providing the necessary support for growing feet.
Does the shoe have good arch support?
Yes, the Clifton 10 is designed with a balanced cushioning platform that offers substantial support throughout the arch and heel.
Can I replace the insole?
Yes, the shoe features a molded removable sockliner, allowing you to swap it for custom orthotics if needed.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
The standard fit is accommodating, but the jacquard knit upper provides some flexibility to fit various foot shapes.
Troubleshooting
The shoe feels too tight across the midfoot
Try adjusting the lacing pattern to be looser across the bridge of the foot or remove the stock sockliner if wearing thicker performance socks.
Outer sole shows signs of uneven wear
This is common in active kids; check if the child has a pronation issue and consider an orthotic insert if recommended by a professional.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of the HOKA Clifton 10 trainers, follow these maintenance tips:
- Fit Check: Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural foot growth.
- Cleaning: Remove the molded sockliner and hand wash it separately in cold water with mild soap. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; avoid submerging the shoes in water or using a washing machine, as this can degrade the foam.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can cause the materials to warp or stiffen.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup within the foam midsole.
