Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the duvet cover and pillowcases from their packaging.
- Initial Wash: For best results and to minimize any initial shedding, it's recommended to machine wash the set before its first use. Refer to the 'Care Instructions' below.
- Insert Duvet: Lay the duvet cover flat on your bed, with the button fastening opening at the bottom. Insert your duvet or comforter into the cover.
- Secure Fastening: Align the corners of your duvet insert with the corners of the cover. Reach inside and gently shake the cover to ensure the duvet settles evenly. Fasten the button fastening securely to keep your duvet in place.
- Pillowcases: Slip your pillows into the matching pillowcases.

Care Instructions
To ensure your Catherine Lansfield Cuddly Duvet Cover Set remains sumptuously soft and plush, follow these guidelines:
- Machine Wash: Wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent.
- Avoid Bleach: Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the faux fur fibers.
- Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Adding dryer balls can help fluff the fur and reduce drying time. Avoid high heat, as it can melt or mat the faux fur.
- Shake & Fluff: After washing and drying, gently shake out the duvet cover and pillowcases to fluff the faux fur. You can also gently brush the fur with your hand or a soft brush to restore its pile.
- No Ironing: Ironing is generally not recommended for faux fur. If necessary, use the lowest heat setting on the reverse side with a pressing cloth, but it's best to avoid direct heat to the fur.
