Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The parasol consists of two poles that easily slot together. Insert the bottom pole into a compatible parasol base (ensure the base is heavy enough for the parasol size or secured). Once the pole is in place, use the push-lock system to extend and lock the canopy to your desired height.
Compatibility: This parasol requires a suitable base for stability. Ensure the base has a pole diameter that fits the wooden pole. While designed for outdoor use, it is recommended to use it with a base of adequate weight or secure it appropriately, especially in windy conditions. Check the specific product listing to confirm if a base is included.
Care: To maintain the parasol's appearance and functionality:
- Close the parasol during strong winds or inclement weather to prevent damage.
- Wipe the polyester canopy clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow it to dry completely before closing.
- Periodically check the wooden pole for any signs of wear and consider applying a wood sealant or oil to protect it from the elements.
- Store the parasol in its carry bag in a dry place when not in use for extended periods.
