FAQs

What type of surface are these boots designed for?

These boots are specifically designed for Artificial Grass (AG) pitches.

What is the HybridTouch upper made of?

The HybridTouch upper is Adidas's next-generation combination of synthetic suede and foil, engineered for lightweight comfort and support.

Will the lacquer finish wearing off affect the boot's performance?

No, the Adidas product information states that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the boot may wear off during play but will not affect the performance of the product.

How do I clean the boots?

Wipe the boots with a damp cloth after use and allow them to air dry at room temperature. A gentle brush can be used on the suede-like upper.

Are these boots suitable for wide feet?

The boots have a regular fit. The HybridTouch upper offers some adaptability, but for very wide feet, it is recommended to try them on if possible.

Who are the professional athletes endorsing the Predator range?

The Predator range is endorsed by Jude Bellingham, Alessia Russo, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gabriel Jesus, and Katie Zelem.

Can I use these boots on a firm ground pitch?

While the boots may offer some traction, they are optimized for Artificial Grass. Using them on firm ground may lead to decreased performance and increased wear.

Troubleshooting

Laces come undone during play

Ensure laces are tied securely using a double knot if necessary.

Boots feel too tight

Loosen the laces and allow the HybridTouch upper to adapt to your foot shape over a few wears. If persistent, consider if the size is correct.

Reduced grip on the ball

Ensure the Strikeskin rubber fins are clean and free from mud or debris. The fins are designed to enhance grip when dry or slightly damp.

Traction issues on the pitch

Verify that the boots are being used on their intended surface (Artificial Grass). Clean any debris from the studs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhanced ball control and precision due to Strikeskin fins.
Lightweight and comfortable HybridTouch upper.
Optimized traction and agility on artificial grass.
Improved responsiveness for quick playmaking.

Cons

Lacquer finish on the soleplate may wear off during play (does not affect performance).
Designed specifically for artificial grass, may not perform optimally on other surfaces.
Suede-like material may require specific cleaning methods.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These boots are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure they are the correct size for a snug, performance-enhancing fit. Lace closure allows for adjustable tightness.

Compatibility: Primarily designed for Artificial Grass (AG) surfaces. Performance may be reduced on natural grass, indoor courts, or other surfaces.

Care:

Clean the upper and soleplate after each use with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature; avoid direct heat sources.
The suede-like material of the HybridTouch upper may require gentle brushing to maintain its texture.
Note that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the boot is cosmetic and may wear off during play; this does not impact the boot's performance.
