No, this runner is designed specifically for indoor use to protect your home's interior floors.
Washing frequency depends on usage. For high-traffic areas, washing every few weeks or when visibly dirty is recommended. For lighter use, monthly or as needed is sufficient.
It is suitable for most indoor flooring types including hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
The latex backing is designed to provide grip on most smooth indoor surfaces. Ensure the floor is clean and dry for optimal performance. It may have reduced effectiveness on heavily textured or carpeted floors.
It is generally not recommended to use fabric softener, as it can sometimes reduce the absorbency of the fibres over time.
Washing at temperatures higher than 30 degrees Celsius may cause shrinkage or damage to the fibres and backing, compromising its performance and appearance.
Ensure the latex backing is clean and dry. Place the runner on a flat, smooth surface. Check if the backing has degraded over time; if so, replacement may be necessary.
Clean the runner according to care instructions. Over time, accumulated dirt and residue can reduce absorbency. Ensure it is washed thoroughly.
Treat stubborn stains before machine washing. Use a mild detergent and spot clean as needed. Avoid using bleach, as it may damage the fibres or colour.
Ensure the runner is completely dry before placing it back down. If the odor persists, wash it again with a small amount of baking soda added to the wash cycle.
Setup:
Unroll the runner and place it in your desired location. Ensure the latex backing is flat against the floor to maximize its grip.
Compatibility:
This runner is suitable for use on most indoor flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet. It is designed for indoor use only.
