Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Disassemble: Before first use, disassemble all parts: bottle, anti-colic wand, silicone valve, screw ring, and teat.
- Clean: Wash all components thoroughly in warm soapy water. Use a bottle brush for hard-to-reach areas, especially inside the anti-colic wand.
- Sterilise: Sterilise all parts using your preferred method (boiling, steam steriliser, or the bottle's self-sterilising function).
- Assemble:
a. Insert the anti-colic wand into the bottle, ensuring it's securely seated at the base.
b. Push the silicone valve into the screw ring from the underside. Ensure the two small vents are not blocked.
c. Pull the teat through the screw ring until it clicks into place. Ensure the screw ring holds the silicone valve and teat securely.
d. Screw the assembled teat and screw ring onto the bottle. Ensure the anti-colic wand aligns properly with the base of the teat.
Compatibility
- These bottles are compatible with all Tommee Tippee Advanced Anti-Colic teats, allowing you to adjust flow rates as your baby grows.
- They are designed to work seamlessly with other Tommee Tippee pumping and storage accessories within the Advanced Anti-Colic range.
Care
- Cleaning: Always wash all bottle components immediately after each use. Use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush to ensure all milk residue is removed, particularly from the anti-colic wand and valve. Rinse thoroughly.
- Self-Sterilising:
- Pour 30ml of water into the bottle.
- Place the inverted teat, screw ring, and cap on top of the bottle.
- Place the anti-colic wand into the bottle.
- Place in a microwave for 3 minutes (timing may vary with microwave wattage).
- Allow to cool before handling. Always ensure there is enough water to create steam; do not microwave dry.
- Regular Inspection: Regularly check teats and other silicone components for signs of wear, tears, or damage. Replace immediately if any damage is observed to ensure safety and optimal performance. Bottles should be replaced if they show signs of cracking or discoloration.
