The PARK TOOL MLP-1.2 Master Link Pliers are designed for cyclists who need to quickly and easily remove or install master links on their chains. The key benefit is that they make chain maintenance significantly faster and simpler. A point to note is that they are specifically designed for master links and won't work on other chain types. These pliers are compatible with 5 to 12-speed derailleur chains and made in the USA.

These pliers are compatible with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed derailleur chains that use a master link.
Clean the pliers after each use with a clean cloth. You can use a degreaser if necessary.
Yes, these pliers are covered by Park Tool's limited lifetime warranty.
No, these pliers are designed to remove and install the master link only. You'll need a chain tool to size your chain.
The redesigned tips allow you to re-join stiff or corroded master links. However, excessive corrosion might require a replacement.
Store the pliers in a dry location to prevent rust. You can also apply a light coating of oil to protect them.
Ensure the jaws are correctly positioned on the master link. Apply even pressure when squeezing or pulling the handles. Lubricate the pivot point.
Make sure you are using the correct size jaws for your master link. Avoid excessive force.
No specific setup is required; the pliers are ready to use out of the package.
These pliers are compatible with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed derailleur chains that use master links.
