FAQs

How do I use the foil cutter?

Place the foil cutter on top of the bottle's neck. Squeeze and rotate to cut the foil.

Can I use this on sparkling wine bottles?

Yes, but use caution due to the pressure inside. Open slowly and carefully.

How do I store the corkscrew?

Store in a dry place. The included foil cutter can be stored with the corkscrew.

What if the cork breaks?

If the cork breaks, try to reinsert the worm and remove the remaining pieces. If that doesn't work, consider using a different corkscrew or filter the wine.

Is the Le Creuset LM250 dishwasher safe?

No, it is not dishwasher safe. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

What is the warranty?

The Le Creuset LM250 Lever Model usually comes with a warranty. Refer to the product packaging or Le Creuset's website for warranty details.

Troubleshooting

Corkscrew doesn't fully extract the cork.

Ensure the corkscrew is properly aligned and centered on the bottle. Try applying more downward pressure when lowering the lever.

Foil cutter doesn't cut foil cleanly.

Make sure the foil cutter blades are sharp. Apply even pressure when rotating the cutter around the bottle neck.

Corkscrew feels stiff or difficult to operate.

Check for any obstructions. Clean and lightly lubricate the moving parts with a food-safe lubricant if needed.
