Isotex 10000 is Regatta's own waterproof, breathable, and windproof technology. The '10000' indicates a hydrostatic head rating of 10,000mm (waterproofness) and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24hrs.

Machine wash at 30°C with liquid detergent, rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry on a low heat to reactivate the DWR finish. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.

The Isotex 10000 technology with taped seams provides excellent protection against moderate to heavy rain. However, extreme, prolonged downpours may eventually test its limits.

While breathable, this jacket is designed for protection against wet and windy conditions. In warm weather, it might feel too warm unless worn for protection against rain. Consider layering appropriately.

The wired peak on the hood adds structure and helps to keep the hood shaped, directing rain away from your face and improving visibility in wet conditions.

Re-waterproofing is recommended when you notice water no longer beads on the surface and begins to soak into the fabric. This is often after several washes or significant wear. Reactivating the DWR via tumble drying is a good first step.

This is a fully waterproof and windproof hardshell jacket. A softshell typically offers water resistance and wind resistance but is not fully waterproof and may be more breathable and flexible.

Ensure all seams are properly taped. Check if the DWR finish needs reactivating (tumble dry on low heat) or if re-waterproofing is required. Also, verify that zippers are fully closed.

Ensure the jacket is clean; dirt and residue can block pores. Wash according to care instructions using liquid detergent and reactivate the DWR. Consider if the temperature requires a less waterproof/more breathable garment.

Clean the zipper teeth gently with a damp cloth. Apply a small amount of wax or silicone lubricant to the zipper track.

Check the integrity of the cord and the toggle mechanism. If damaged, the toggle may need replacement.
