FAQs

Is this T-shirt suitable for screen printing?

Yes, the fine knit gauge and high-quality construction are specifically designed for enhanced printability and custom designs.

Will this T-shirt shrink?

As it is made from 100% cotton, some minor shrinkage can occur if the garment is exposed to high temperatures in the dryer. We recommend air drying.

Is the neck label itchy?

No, this shirt features a printed neck label to eliminate the discomfort caused by traditional sewn-in tags.

Is this a unisex fit?

Yes, the T-shirt is designed with a standard, versatile cut suitable for both boys and girls.

What does Belcoro yarn mean?

Belcoro is a specific spinning technology used by Fruit of the Loom to create a softer, cleaner, and more durable fabric surface.

Troubleshooting

Fabric feels slightly rough after washing

Use a gentle fabric softener during the rinse cycle or ensure you are not overloading the washing machine.

Neckline has lost its shape

Avoid pulling the neckline over the head roughly when dressing; ensure the shirt is hung to dry or laid flat to prevent stretching.

Printed graphics are peeling

Wash the shirt inside out and avoid high-temperature dryer settings to protect the print adhesive.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High-quality cotton construction for breathability
  • Tagless design prevents neck irritation
  • Soft-touch fabric ideal for sensitive skin
  • Optimized for custom screen printing or embroidery
  • Durable reinforced neck construction

Cons

  • Cotton may be prone to minor shrinkage if tumble dried on high heat
  • Requires proper care to prevent color fading
  • Limited to casual/everyday styling

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Fruit of the Loom T-shirt, follow these care instructions:

  1. Washing: Machine wash in cold or warm water (maximum 40°C) with like colors to prevent potential dye transfer.
  2. Drying: Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the cotton fibers and prevent shrinkage. If using a dryer, select the lowest heat setting.
  3. Ironing: Use a medium-heat iron. If the shirt has been screen-printed, avoid ironing directly over the design to prevent melting or damage.
  4. Bleaching: Avoid using chlorine-based bleach, as it will break down the cotton fibers and cause the pink fabric to fade rapidly.
