This guide is for parents and guardians looking for a lightweight, waterproof jacket for young children, specifically for use in wet weather. The key benefit is reliable protection from rain in a packable design. A potential caveat is that it's primarily for water resistance and may not offer significant insulation for very cold conditions. The Regatta Great Outdoors Pack It Jacket III is a children’s waterproof packaway jacket designed for wet-weather days. It is made from 100% polyamide, offering a lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and water-repellent feel. Key features include a high-neck design with a grown-on hood, full zip fastening, and a packaway construction.

The jacket is designed to be waterproof and water-repellent, offering good protection against rain. However, for prolonged exposure to heavy downpours, additional rain gear might be considered.
The jacket is made from 100% polyamide.
Machine wash at 40°C using liquid detergent. Do not bleach, iron, or use fabric softener. Tumble dry on a low heat setting. It is recommended to wash separately.
The jacket is lightweight and primarily designed for water protection. It can be layered over warmer clothing like fleeces for added insulation in cooler weather, but it does not provide significant insulation on its own.
The jacket is designed to be folded down into a compact size, making it easy to store in a backpack or bag for convenience when not in use.
'Grown-on hood' means the hood is permanently attached to the jacket, rather than being detachable.
This specific variant is for size 2-3 years. Other sizes may be available in different color options.
The water-repellent finish may have worn off. Re-apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment after washing and drying, following the product's instructions. Ensure the jacket is clean before applying.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Ensure no debris is caught in the zipper. Lubricate with a silicone-based lubricant or a graphite pencil if necessary.
Ensure the elasticated hood edge is not stretched out. Check for any damage to the elastic. The design relies on a snug fit, so ensure the appropriate size has been selected.
Setup: This jacket requires no assembly. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Suitable for children aged 2-3 years.
Care Instructions: To maintain the jacket's performance:
