Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the grill and all packaging materials.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the Cerastone cooking plates with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. This removes any manufacturing residues.
- Placement: Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface near a power outlet. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power: Plug the appliance into a suitable power socket. The grill will begin to heat up automatically, typically indicated by a light (if available).
Compatibility
The Tower Panini Grill is compatible with standard household power outlets. It is designed for grilling a variety of foods including bread-based items like paninis, ciabattas, and sandwiches, as well as meats such as chicken, sausages, and vegetables. Its 3-portion capacity is well-suited for individual meals or small family servings.
Care
- Cool Down: Always allow the grill to cool down completely before attempting to clean it.
- Cleaning Plates: Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the Cerastone non-stick plates. For stubborn food residue, dampen the residue with a little cooking oil first to loosen it. Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior housing with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Never Immerse: Do not immerse the grill, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Once clean and completely cool, utilize the hinged plate lock to secure the plates and the cord wrap feature to tidy the power cord. The grill can then be stored vertically to save space.
