Product Information

Full details

For adult male players seeking enhanced ball control and agility on firm ground pitches, the Nike Tiempo Maestro Elite LE FG football boots offer a premium touch and adaptive fit. A key benefit is the TechLeather upper combined with the 360Wrap design for superior feel and creativity. A potential caveat is that the lacquer finish on certain elements may wear off during play, though this does not impact performance.

FAQs

What is TechLeather and what are its benefits?

TechLeather is a premium synthetic leather upper that provides a soft, natural touch on the ball. It offers consistent feel in various conditions, is lighter than traditional leather, and is less prone to stretching.

Can I use these boots on artificial grass?

These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) and are not recommended for use on artificial grass. Using them on artificial surfaces can lead to excessive wear and reduced performance.

How does the 360Wrap feature work?

The 360Wrap extends the upper material further around the boot to provide a secure, locked-down feel. This enhances stability and control, allowing for more precise movements and creativity.

What does 'LE' stand for in the product name?

'LE' typically stands for 'Limited Edition'. These boots represent a specific launch colorway or iteration of the Tiempo Maestro Elite model.

Will the lacquer finish wear off?

Yes, the lacquer finish on certain elements of the boot is expected to wear off during play. However, this is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance or durability of the boot.

How should I clean and care for my boots?

Clean with a soft brush or damp cloth after play. Allow to air dry naturally away from heat. Store in a cool, dry place.

What is the main advantage of the Maestro360 split soleplate?

The Maestro360 split soleplate is designed for optimized torsional flex and responsiveness, providing effortless multidirectional traction that aids in quick turns and shifts in direction.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable

Wear the boots for short periods initially to allow the TechLeather to adapt to your foot shape. Ensure laces are tied appropriately, not too tight.

Traction feels inconsistent on the pitch

Confirm you are using the boots on the intended Firm Ground (FG) surface. Clean the studs of any mud or debris, as this can affect grip.

Lacquer finish appears worn

This is a cosmetic effect of play and does not impact the boots' performance or structural integrity. Continue using them as normal.

TechKnit collar feels loose

Ensure the laces are correctly threaded through the eyestays and tied securely to achieve the intended dynamic lockdown.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These boots are ready to wear out of the box. It is recommended to wear them for a short period or a light training session to allow them to conform to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.

Compatibility: Designed specifically for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. Use on artificial grass or other surfaces may lead to premature wear and reduced performance.

Care:

Cleaning: After use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. Stuffing with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to protect them from extreme conditions and damage.
