FAQs

Is the material suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, this set is crafted from soft cotton, which is gentle and breathable for infant skin.

Can I remove the braces from the trousers?

The braces are designed to be part of the garment's functional look and are not intended to be detached.

Does the bodysuit have a full opening?

The bodysuit features buttons on the chest area for style and concealed poppers on the gusset for easy diaper changes.

How should I store this outfit?

It is best to hang the bodysuit and fold the knit leggings to maintain the shape of the braces.

What is the best way to clean stains off the collar?

Use a gentle, baby-safe stain remover and spot clean before placing the item in a standard 40-degree wash.

Troubleshooting

Bow tie looks slightly crumpled after washing

Gently reshape the bow tie while the garment is damp and use a cool iron to smooth the fabric surrounding the attachment point.

Poppers are difficult to snap in a hurry

Ensure the fabric is flat and not bunched under the popper before applying pressure; this prevents the snaps from feeling misaligned.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality cotton fabric ensures comfort for active toddlers
Stylish, cohesive look perfect for parties and photographs
Functional design elements like gusset poppers make changes easier
Braces offer a secure fit while adding a refined vintage touch

Cons

Requires more time to dress than standard onesies due to multiple pieces
Formal shirt cuffs may be less flexible than casual ribbed knit cuffs
Hand-wash or delicate machine settings recommended to preserve the bow tie detail

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep this outfit in its best condition, adhere to the following maintenance instructions:

Washing: Machine wash at 40 degrees Celsius. Do not use bleach, as this can degrade the natural cotton fibers and fade the blue color.
Drying: Use a cool tumble dry setting. Overheating may cause shrinkage of the knit trousers.
Ironing: Use a cool iron if needed to crisp up the collar and shirt-style cuffs after washing.
Compatibility: The 12-18 month sizing is standard for the Mamas & Papas range. As this is a 3-piece set, it is best paired with neutral-colored infant soft-soled shoes or formal booties to complete the look.
