FAQs
Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?
The Skechers Arch Fit® Arcade Sandal - Daylily features a standard width. While the crossband offers some flexibility, individuals with significantly wide feet may find them to be a snug fit. Checking customer reviews for fit feedback can be helpful.
Can I wear these sandals in water?
While the materials can handle light moisture, these sandals are not designed for prolonged submersion in water. The canvas upper is not waterproof and may take time to dry, and excessive water exposure could affect the adhesive and materials.
What is the main benefit of the Arch Fit® system?
The Arch Fit® system is engineered with podiatrist-certified, contoured insoles designed to provide enhanced stability and comfort by supporting your natural arch, helping to reduce foot fatigue.
How do I know if I have the right size?
Ensure your heel is comfortably within the footbed and your toes do not extend past the front. There should be minimal heel sliver or toe overhang. Refer to the Skechers sizing chart for specific measurements.
Is the canvas upper durable?
The canvas upper is made from durable materials suitable for casual wear. For longevity, it's recommended to follow the spot cleaning care instructions and avoid abrasive cleaning methods.
Can these sandals be used for walking long distances?
Yes, the combination of Yoga Foam® cushioning and the podiatrist-certified Arch Fit® footbed makes them very comfortable for extended periods of walking and standing.
Are there other color options available?
This model, the Arch Fit® Arcade Sandal - Daylily, is available in various colors, including pink and navy blue. Please check the product listings for currently available options.
Troubleshooting
Sandal feels too tight or loose.
As this is a slide sandal with a fixed crossband, adjustability is limited. Ensure you have selected the correct size. If the fit is still not ideal, consider if the fixed strap design meets your needs.
Canvas upper shows dirt or stains.
Gently spot clean the affected area with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Rinse the cloth and wipe away any soap residue. Allow to air dry.
Arch support feels different than expected.
The Arch Fit® system is designed to support the natural arch. It may take a short period to adapt. If discomfort persists, consult the product sizing guide or consider if this arch support profile suits your foot.
Sandal offers minimal grip on wet surfaces.
The outsole is designed for general traction. Be cautious when walking on very wet or slippery surfaces as grip may be reduced.
