The Keetley features a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find them restrictive and might need to size up or seek a specific wide-width alternative.
While the leather is durable, it is not waterproof. It is recommended to use a protective leather spray if you frequently walk in damp conditions.
Use a soft brush to remove dust, apply a small amount of black leather polish, and buff in circular motions with a clean cloth.
The Keetley features a synthetic sole bonded to the upper, which is generally not intended to be resoled by a cobbler in the same way as traditional welted footwear.
Yes, the Keetley generally runs true to standard UK sizing for adult male footwear.
Wear the shoes in short intervals indoors to allow the leather to naturally soften and conform to your foot shape.
Use a matching black leather polish or cream to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore the original sheen.
Double-knot the laces or replace them with higher-friction cotton laces if the factory-provided set proves too slick.
Because the Keetley features a traditional lace-up system, ensure you adjust the tension across the bridge of your foot to allow for natural movement. For care, use a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. It is recommended to apply a high-quality leather conditioner or neutral cream periodically to prevent the leather from drying out or cracking. Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and utilize a shoe tree if possible to help the leather maintain its shape during periods of inactivity.
