Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Getting started with your Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is straightforward:
- Lacing: Unlace the shoes sufficiently to easily slide your foot in.
- Insert Foot: Place your foot firmly inside the shoe, ensuring your heel is seated correctly.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the toe box, gradually pull the laces snug, working your way up to the collar. Aim for a secure but not overly tight fit. You should be able to wiggle your toes comfortably.
- Tie Knot: Finish with a double knot to prevent laces from coming undone during activity.
Compatibility
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is primarily designed for:
- Running: Suitable for daily training, road running, and moderate-distance runs.
- General Fitness: Excellent for gym workouts, cross-training, and walking.
- Surfaces: Performs best on pavement, track, and other relatively even surfaces.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your shoes:
- Cleaning the Upper: For the engineered mesh upper, gently wipe dirt and stains with a soft cloth or brush, using a mild soap solution and cool water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning the Outsole: Use a brush (an old toothbrush works well) and water to remove dirt and debris from the waffle-inspired rubber outsole to maintain traction.
- Drying: Air dry your shoes at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use a machine dryer, as this can damage materials.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles periodically to air out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or baking soda sprinkled inside the shoes when not in use.
