FAQs
Are these boots waterproof?
No, the Peu Touring boots are crafted from cotton textile and are not waterproof. We recommend using a textile-safe water-repellent spray for light protection.
Can I replace the footbeds?
Yes, the OrthoLite® footbeds are removable and can be swapped for custom orthotics if required.
How do I tighten the fit?
The elastic laces are designed to offer a snug fit without adjustment. However, you can adjust the tension by pulling the laces through the eyelets.
Are these suitable for winter?
These boots are better suited for mild, dry weather. The breathable material is not designed for heavy snow or freezing conditions.
What is the material composition of the lining?
The interior lining is a sustainable blend of 63% pigskin and 37% recycled polyester.
Do these fit true to size?
Yes, the series generally follows standard UK sizing. If you prefer a looser fit or thick socks, consider your typical sneaker size.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel too tight across the midfoot
The Peu Touring features elastic laces. Adjust the tension along the eyelets manually to redistribute pressure, or ensure you are wearing appropriate thickness socks.
Surface dirt on the green cotton upper
Use a damp, soft cloth or a specialized textile cleaner to gently dab the area. Avoid soaking the cotton, as this may affect the material finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
These boots feature a standard fit; ensure you select the appropriate UK size for your foot shape. Because they use elastic lacing, there is no initial setup required to break in the closure system.
To ensure the longevity of your CAMPER boots:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove dust and dirt from the cotton textile upper.
- Protection: Apply a water-repellent spray designed for cotton/textiles to help prevent staining from light rain or spills.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the textile from fading.
- Maintenance: If the footbeds become compressed over heavy use, they can be aired out or replaced with compatible orthotic inserts if necessary.
