Can these be machine washed?
No, machine washing can damage the leather components and adhesive integrity. Hand cleaning is recommended.

What age group are these for?
These trainers are specifically designed for older children requiring robust outdoor footwear.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel tight after a growth spurt
Check if the insole is removable. Removing it can provide slightly more volume, though a new size is recommended for proper foot development.
Mesh panels have become dirty
Use a mild soap solution and a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the mesh, then blot with a dry cloth and allow to air dry.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Timberland Field Trekker trainers, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud and dirt from the rubber rand and outsole. For the leather and mesh uppers, wipe gently with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Always air-dry at room temperature. Never place these shoes on direct heat sources like radiators, as this can cause the leather to crack and the adhesive to weaken.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the materials.
- Compatibility: These trainers fit true to standard children's sizing; ensure proper fit by checking the heel-to-toe room for growing feet.
